A Lens on Local Baking

Earlier this month I spent a morning photographing the Blewbury Bread Co. in their new bakery on St Peter's Street, Wallingford.

Founded by Jack O'Nolan six years ago from a garage in the village of Blewbury, the business has steadily built a loyal following across South Oxfordshire — and this permanent space feels like a well-earned next chapter.

I was there to document the morning shift: dough being worked, cinnamon buns glazed fresh from the oven, loaves cooling on the racks, and a team settling into a space that finally feels like their own. These are working photographs,  made in the hope of capturing something of what makes this place worth knowing about.
